John Kavanagh VS the shift of a nation towards legalization

The people in Arizona have voted not once,
but THREE times to legalize medical marijuana.

The first time the Arizona legislators repealed
the referendum that the people passed in Arizona
legalizing medical marijuana.

That act has caused the people of Arizona to pass
an initiative making it almost impossible for the Arizona legislator

to repeal initiatives passed by the voters

of Arizona.

The second time medical marijuana was legalized in Arizona,
the DEA said they would revoke the
license to prescribe drugs of any doctor that wrote a
prescription for medical marijuana or any other illegal drug,
effectively gutting Arizona’s second medical marijuana law,
which really was a medical marijuana, heroin, cocaine,
LSD, methamphetamine.

The third time the people of Arizona passed

Prop 203 which is the current Arizona medical marijuana law
which is now in effect.

Along comes government Arizona Rep. John Kavanagh
who says the people of Arizona were too stupid to know what
they were voting for  when they legalized medical marijuana,
not once, but three times.

Rep. John Kavanagh R-Fountain Hills filed a
bill called HCR2003 that would refer the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act back
to the ballot in November 2014 in an attempt to get the people
to repeal Prop 203.

Kavanagh also said medical marijuana is dangerous and, until new studies prove otherwise, it should not be dispensed. Kavanagh said the program is loaded with abuse and that 10 percent of children are getting their marijuana from cardholders in the program.

Never the less the Skies of change are coming as the nation begins the shift towards legalization and removing marijuana from schedule I by the Federal government.

The American Medical Assn. since 2009 has urged the federal government to reconsider its classification of marijuana as a dangerous drug with no accepted medical use. This significant shift that puts the prestigious group behind calls for more research.

This  shift by the AMA, the nation’s largest physicians organization, with about 250,000 member doctors, the AMA has maintained for over a decade, marijuana should remain a Schedule I controlled substance but not any more. The Skies of change are coming and soon. Hopefully all of us can enjoy the rising warmth of freedom.
